score Calculation Criteria for JEE (Main) 2015The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) is will be conducted on April 4, 2015 (offline) and April 10 and 11, 2015 (online). As per the exam pattern, there will be two papers – Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning). Students appearing for the examination must select either of the two papers depending on the course they are seeking admission into.

Calculation of Score
The percentile for the examination is calculated on the basis of subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Language, Biology, Technical Vocational Subject, and Biotechnology – any one of these or any other subject.

Short listing Candidates
The JEE Main 2015 score as well as the standardized score in Class XII or equivalent examination is considered for short listing candidates. The weight age given to the marks of different exams varies. The Central Seat Allocation Board provides admission to students in NITs, IITS, CFTIs, SFIs and others on the basis of the All India Rank (AIR). All other ranks are calculated only for the sake of information.

Score Card
Candidates must know that they will not receive any physical score/rank card. The result will be published online on the official website of the exam with a download link.

Admit Cards
Admit cards for the examination are already available on the official website ( Jeemain.nic.in ) and must be downloaded. It is mandatory for every candidate to carry the admit card to the exam hall. Any candidate not carrying the admit card will be refrained from appearing for the test.
